Tammy is responsible for overseeing technical studies and providing project management support. She has 20 years of experience as a field botanist and biologist, performing floral inventories, completing habitat evaluations, and providing horticultural guidance in a multitude of vegetative communities throughout Washington and Oregon. Tammy's expertise includes wetland delineation and functional assessments, rare and non-vascular plant surveys, restoration and mitigation project management, site design, and restoration management and monitoring. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Field Botany from The Evergreen State College and a Master of Science in Environmental Horticulture and Urban Forestry from the University of Washington. Tammy is a member of the Society for Ecological Restoration, the Society of Wetland Scientists, Pacific Northwest Chapter, and the Native Plant Society of Oregon. She is a PNW native and likes to be outdoors enjoying snowboarding, hiking, and gardening in her spare time.
