Greater Yamhill Watershed Council Action Plan
Yamhill County, OR
Cascade assisted the Greater Yamhill Watershed Council with the development of a Restoration Action Plan. The Action Plan provides a strategic framework and detailed roadmap to advance the Council’s mission to improve the health of the Yamhill River and its tributaries.
The Council’s service area covers nearly 530,000 acres and is composed of 8 watersheds stretching from the crest of the Coast Range to the Willamette River. Cascade conducted an extensive inventory and synthesis of existing watershed and fish population information, facilitated collaboration with multiple agencies and stakeholders, identified priorities and key restoration issues, and developed a framework to guide strategic restoration actions. The final report was delivered in spring of 2013.
